People are hurrying, like mice they are scurrying.
“Where can we hide?” “Let’s get inside.”
Can somebody tell me,
Why do we shelter from the rain?
Why would we run from Mother Nature’s gift,
Without which we could not live.
Let us hold our heads high and pray for rain.
The rain that heals parched earth,
The rain that heals our souls.
People are creeping, unaware they are sleeping.
Slumbering away, the hours and the days,
Never noticing their pain,
Why do we shelter from the rain?
Why would we run from Mother Nature’s gift,
Without which we could not live.
Let us open our hearts to the holy rain.
The rain that heals parched earth,
The rain that heals our souls.
We all need nourishment from above.
So clouds rise in the sky,
To refresh all that grows with heavenly love.
So let us put our hands together,
Take down our psychological umbrellas,
And pray that never again,
Shall we shelter from the rain.
